The Three Rivers Race is an annual event, held usually on the first Saturday of June. As its name suggests, it covers the three rivers of the northern Broads - The Bure, Ant and Thurne - the idea being, to visit specified points on each of the rivers and return to Horning as quickly as possible. For the very fast craft, this is a race of 8-9 hours, but there is always a trickle of yachts returning to Horning throughout Sunday!
